Nago readies third album

Gospel musician and radio personality Admire Nago is set to release his third album titled “Praise the Lord” on the 18th of this month in Zvishavane, Midlands Province.

In an interview with Zimpapers Radio News Radio News Nago said:

“The album is all about praising the Lord just thanking him with the gift of life and to inspire people to not always cry for help but to also thank the Lord. It is a thanks giving album”.

The album was produced by Olin Anderson of Kunashe Studios in Manicaland Province and fuses various music genres.

“I recorded the album with my long -time producer Olin Anderson in Mutare and this time I didn't do any collaborations like other years, I just gave people my voice only.

“We will also drop a video on the day of a song titled Torai Moyo it will be on our social platforms the day of launch”.

The launch will feature various artistes including Dorcas Moyo, Prince Gumbo, Mai Patai, Paddy Music, Attalia Parehwa and many more.

Asked on how he juggles making music and radio producing and presentation, Nago said:

“Radio and music I take it as one thing because it links when I am on radio I will be working with music learning new things every day and I add or subtract on my own music so it all works out well.

Nago is also a presenter with Zvishavane-based radio station YAFM and in 2018 won an award for coming second with the song Wandigadza during the 2018 Radio Zimbabwe Coca Cola Top 50 chart show.

The same year he won the Best Gospel Artiste and Best Video awards with the album Nhovo at the Midlands Music Awards.
