President Emmerson Mnangagwa has challenged the private sector to take advantage of the growing economy to increase their investments.
Speaking during the commissioning of a new production line for bottled water and cordial at the Varun Beverages Zimbabwe plant in Harare on Wednesday, President Mnangagwa said, government is prepared to dialogue with the private sector to improve the business environment.
The third phase of investment by Varun Beverages will see the production line having the capacity to produce 400 bottles per minute while the entire plant now has capacity to produce 60 million bottles and cans per month.
Speaking at the same occasion India Ambassador to Zimbabwe Vijay Khanduja pledged to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
The latest expansion will increase exports to Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Botswana.
