A Russian business delegation has arrived in the country on a three-day visit to explore opportunities in the mining sector particularly in the Midlands province.

Addressing the media through an interpreter upon arrival at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International airport yesterday, Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation Minister Yarin Vyacheslav said he is optimistic the visit will develop the province and the rest of the country in the mining sector.

Midlands Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Larry Mavima said he is happy with the arrival of the team as they will exchange notes and more business opportunities for mutual benefit.
