Local retail shop, TM Pick n Pay has taken the fight against Covid - 19 a notch higher, donating Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to two polyclinics in Harare - Tariro and Epworth clinics.

On Africa Day, the company committed to donating PPEs and hand sanitizer worth ZWL1.7 Million dollars to various institutions as a strategic intervention to curb the spread of the virus.

Head of Marketing, Paida Mhazo said, “ We know that this donation can assist the frontline healthcare workers dealing with active cases and help in preventing the spread of the deadly virus.

Receiving the donation, Dr Mhanda of Epworth Polyclinic appreciated the good gesture by the company saying it will go a long way in saving lives.

The handed-over goods included sanitiser, hand soap, disinfectants, surgical gloves, gowns, masks and caps.
