President Emmerson Mnangagwa has once again underscored that Government is not looking back on rebuilding the economy and that the fruits of the growth will be enjoyed by all Zimbabweans. 

The statement projected at further stimulating confidence among Zimbabweans and the country’s cooperating partners comes at a time Government is in overdrive reconstructing infrastructure that had been neglected for years whilst also moving to restore efficient social services. 

In a post on his social media platforms this Wednesday, the president said the positives in economic growth are attested by a conformation from economists that the country’s Gross Domestic Product, which is the total value of goods produced and services provided locally this year will hit 7,8 percent.

The figures, which signify increased local business activity, come as the nation has reduced foreign currency spending from foods imports after attaining a good harvest last season.
