The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe has begun licensing Bureau de Change agents to dispense weekly USD$50 notes at bank rate to people in rural areas, as Government extends the facility to improve cash flow at grassroot levels.

Speaking to Star FM this Thursday, one of the first money agents to be given the greenlight MCSHERP Bureau de Change founder Jimayi Muduvuri said the expansion into rural areas demonstrates Government's commitment to leave no community behind adding that it will bring joy to remote communities.

The RBZ introduced the USD$50 withdrawal last year in a bid to avail affordable foreign currency to individuals for small basic transactions that require the greenback.
