Rwanda has lifted a ban on Concerts under its new coronavirus regulations, which was effected last month, after a surge in Covid-19 cases, attributed to the Omicron variant.
The cabinet resolved that concert organisers will seek permission 10 days before the event, with tickets being sold online and the recommended capacity is 50% for indoor venues and 75% for outdoor.
Those attending concerts must show proof of vaccination.
Theatres and Cinema halls have also been allowed to reopen with 50% capacity.
