The Ministry of Health and Child Care says it has successfully introduced Inspectors, tasked to hold health workers to account in providing quality health care services to Zimbabweans.

Speaking after a weeklong orientation exercise for the Inspectors in Victoria Falls recently, Health and Child Care deputy Minister Dr John Mangwiro said the newly established Inspectorate Division is part of the Ministry’s restructuring programme aimed at cultivating a new work ethic.

He said inspections were already underway countrywide adding that all health care workers will be assessed on how they serve members of the public. 

This comes as Government is pushing various health care interventions to improve service delivery.
