Govt starts evacuating Zimbabweans in Ukraine

A large number of Zimbabwean students who left Ukraine following military developments in that country have contacted a Government official dispatched yesterday to organise their stay in Poland and avail flight tickets to return home.

Foreign Affairs and International Trade acting director for Communication Livit Mugejo told Star FM News that the Zimbabwean Government has secured accommodation in Poland for the students and other stranded nationals.

As of Sunday , Government had indicated that at least 260 Zimbabweans are registered to have been in Ukraine.
