President Emmerson Mnangagwa is in Bulawayo, where he will preside over the children’s party reception at State House today ahead of the 42nd main Independence celebrations, at Babourfields Stadium tomorrow.

The President arrived at the Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport last night accompanied by First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa.

In an interview Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Acting Minister Dr Jenfan Muswere confirmed that all is set for the historic celebrations, being held outside Harare for the first time.

Dr Muswere added that, a total of 82 buses have been set aside to ferry people country-wide, with a total of 25 diplomats, from different embassies having confirmed their attendance.
