The Bulawayo City Council (BCC) has become the first local authority to join the Project Management Zimbabwe (PMZ) following an agreement that will see the country`s second-largest city being trained and tested for quality management of its projects to boost service delivery.
PMZ initially trained and certified twenty BCC engineers to boost the city water and sanitation project delivery.
PMZ chief executive officer, Peter Banda said they will now train all council departments.
PMZ is the country`s largest association of Project Managers with the mandate to make sure that public and private sector organisations uphold high standards in the work they perform.
