The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) reports that the situation in the country remains normal with members of the public peacefully conducting their normal day-to-day activities.

In a statement, ZRP urged the public to report anyone trying to intimidate, harass or threaten them or disrupt their normal activities.

The Police added that they are ready to ensure that peace continues to prevail throughout the country.

This follows reports of a planned illegal shutdown by some political and civic groups today.
