The European Union (EU) says it will continue to seek closer cooperation with Zimbabwe in further enhancing the country's electoral processes.
Speaking to the media after paying a courtesy call on Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister, Frederick Shava in Harare this Thursday, Chief of Mission of the EU electoral follow-up mission, Elmar Brok said Zimbabwe cannot be isolated from the international family of nations.
He added that their mission to the country is to follow up on the recommendations that were made by the EU Electoral Observation Mission after the 2018 harmonised general election.
Mr Brok who is a member of the European Parliament from Germany led the Observer Mission to Zimbabwe's general polls in 2018.
