Zimbabwe, Algeria commit to resuscitate JPC

Zimbabwe and Algeria have expressed commitment to resuscitate the Joint Permanent Commission on Corporation, (JPC) which was last held in 2009. 

Speaking during the Algerian National Day celebrations held in harare yesterday, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Acting Permanent Secretary Pearson Chigiji said they are working to restore the JPC to facilitate trade between the two nations.

Speaking at the same event, Algeria's Ambassador Noureddine Yazid said his country will next year resume the scholarship program, that will give Zimbabwean students an opportunity to study in his country.

Algeria and Zimbabwe have a long standing relationship which dates back to the days of the liberation struggle.
