In a prelaunch briefing, the National Aeronautics Space Administration (NSSA) said the weather is conducive for the launch which is set at 11 am from Japan.
It added that a live update and commentary will start this morning at 11.30 on its television channel and website.
The satellite will advance Zimbabwe's developmental agenda, as the country will use the technological machine to access real-time information in areas that include mineral exploration, monitoring of environmental hazards and disease outbreaks, as well as mapping human settlements among other capabilities.
