Government says it is satisfied with various interventions aimed at addressing mental health challenges in the country.
This was said by Harare Metropolitan Provincial Affairs and Devolution Secretary Tafadzwa Muguti in a speech read on his behalf by his director, Trust Mudzingwa during a belated event to mark World Mental Health Day.
Meanwhile Harare Provincial Medical Director Dr Innocent Hove and Chitungwiza Municipality Health and Environmental Services Director Dr Tonderai Kasu urged communities to assist mental health patients access treatment.
The World Mental Health Day is observed on the 10th of October annually to raise awareness on the condition and mobilize efforts in support of initiatives to assist patients.
