African Union, AU chairperson and Senegalese President Macky Sall has once again called on the United States to remove sanctions impossed on Zimbabwe. 

Presenting AU demands to United States President Joe Biden at the US-Africa leaders summit in Washington DC, President Sall through an interpretor said Zimbabwe must be allowed to develop without any hindrance.

Meanwhile Southern African Development Community SADC Organ Troika Chairperson President Hage Geingob also met US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during the summit and underscored the bloc's call for the removal of sanctions against zimbabwe.
